A LIFE AND A PRAYER
Many of us over the years have been inspired, motivated, and energized by reading the lives of heroic people. We may also enjoy using prayers that some of them composed. Fr Larry Kaufmann's booklet, "A Life and a Prayer", is an anthology of the lives of some great people and the prayers they composed. Indeed, their heartfelt prayers probably tell us most about them. Desmond Tutu, who read this book while on retreat, thanked Larry for "a timely reminder of some stalwarts who have shown us the way."
