ENTRANCE ANTIPHON:

I am the salvation of the people, says the Lord. Should they cry to me in any distress, I will hear them, and I will be their Lord forever.

FIRST READING: Isaiah 55:6-9.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM: Psalm 145.

RESPONSE:

The Lord is close to all who call him.

  1. I will bless you day after day,

and praise your name forever and ever. The Lord is great and highly to be praised; his greatness cannot be measured. ℟

  2. The Lord is kind and full of compassion, slow to anger, abounding in mercy. How good is the Lord to all, compassionate to all his creatures. ℟

  3. The Lord is just in all his ways,

and holy in all his deeds.

The Lord is close to all who call him, who call on him in truth. ℟

SECOND READING: Philippians 1:20-24, 27.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION:

Alleluia, alleluia! Open our hearts, O Lord, that we may listen to the words of your Son. Alleluia.

GOSPEL: Matthew 20:1-16.

SPIRITUAL COMMUNION PRAYER:

My Jesus,

I believe that you are present

in the Most Holy Sacrament.

I love You above all things,

and I desire to receive You in my soul.

Since I cannot at this moment

receive You sacramentally,

come at least spiritually into my heart.

I embrace You as if You were already there

and unite myself wholly to You.

Never permit me to be separated from You.

Amen.

COMMUNION ANTIPHON:

You have laid down your precepts to be carefully kept; may my ways be firm in keeping your statutes.
