The Grades 10 &11 from Kearsney College are operating the “Big Brother Collection Drive” seeking children’s books and toys in good condition for a disadvantaged community near the College. (This project is operated independently from the College.)
All donations may be left at the reception area of Kearsney College.
Grief support will be holding a meeting on Saturday June 03, at Blessed Sacrament at 09h30.
The Provincial Treasurer of the Oblates has asked all Oblates of the South African Province to raise additional funds to assist in taking care of the elderly Oblates as well as those young men at their studies, both of which need constant funding. Here in the Parish of the Blessed Sacrament, which has always been under the auspices of the Oblates, we will be hosting a fundraising concert on the evening of June 30, 2023. More details to follow.
The Society of the Saint Vincent de Paul have purchased 100 blankets at R100.00 each. If anyone would like to contribute towards the cost of these, it would be highly appreciated.
Tea group. We would like to revive the regular Sunday morning Tea after the 09h00 Mass. Helpers are needed to take on ONE Sunday per month of this special service to the parish community. Please contact Dc Mike 0823715547.
