‘Happy Grandparents Day’
Lifeteen will be hosting a retreat on July 29 and 30, at Blessed Sacrament. The retreat is for teens to understand that encountering Jesus will fill them with lasting joy, allowing them to share the Good News of Christ with others. We encourage all teens to attend this weekend. For more information please contact Tess. We ask you to keep all young people and the Core Team in your prayers.
With the Covid restrictions having been lifted it would be wonderful to have altar servers back in the sanctuary. Those willing to train a team of altar servers please contact Fr. James.
The CWL Ladies are looking for suitcases for the flood victims who have been housed in halls temporarily and have no storage facilities, if you able to help please contact the parish office.

Synod prayer
We stand before You, Holy Spirit, as we gather together in your name. With You alone to guide us, make Yourself at home in our hearts; teach us the way we must go and how we are to pursue it. We are weak and sinful; do not let us promote disorder. Do not let ignorance lead us down the wrong path nor partiality influence our actions. Let us find in You our unity so that we may journey together to eternal life and not stray from the way of truth and what is right. All this we ask of You, who are at work in every place and time, in the communion with the Father and the Son, forever and ever. Amen.
