Book on loan! Fr. James loaned a book, “Denis Hurley – Memories. Memoirs of Archbishop Denis Hurley”, to a parishioner, and he cannot recall who it was. Would that kind person please return the book as soon as possible.
One of our Edge leaders has relocated to Johannesburg. Anyone interested in bringing our youth closer to Christ, please contact Deacon Mike. Training will be given.
Edge will be raffling a jar of Lindt chocolates, but the trick is... you have to guess how many chocolates are in the jar! Tickets will be sold at all masses on the weekends of 6/7 and 13/14 August at R 10.00 per ticket. Please support us.
Grief support will be holding a meeting on Saturday 6 August at 09h30 at Blessed Sacrament in the hall. All are welcome!

We stand before You, Holy Spirit, as we gather together in your name. With You alone to guide us, make Yourself at home in our hearts; teach us the way we must go and how we are to pursue it. We are weak and sinful; do not let us promote disorder. Do not let ignorance lead us down the wrong path nor partiality influence our actions. Let us find in You our unity so that we may journey together to eternal life and not stray from the way of truth and what is right. All this we ask of You, who are at work in every place and time, in the communion with the Father and the Son, forever and ever. Amen.
