OUR MISSION

The society of St Vincent de Paul is a lay Catholic organisation that aspires to live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice, hope and joy and by working to shape a more just and compassionate society. The Conference serves the poor on behalf of the entire parish community.

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

We are a small group of volunteers who serve the poor. Our ongoing commitments generally consist of loading parcels destined for Ottawa for half an hour on Saturday mornings, as well as collecting groceries from Woolworths and making parcels for local beneficiaries for roughly two hours on a Sunday afternoon. We work on a roster basis so members can indicate their availability periodically. We also meet for 1 hour to pray and discuss logistics once a month. We are passionate about finding solutions for those less fortunate in our area. We would love to have you join us!

‘FOOD & CARE FOR CHILDREN INANDA’
