We stand before You, Holy Spirit, as we gather together in your name. With You alone to guide us, make Yourself at home in our hearts; teach us the way we must go and how we are to pursue it. We are weak and sinful; do not let us promote disorder. Do not let ignorance lead us down the wrong path nor partiality influence our actions. Let us find in You our unity so that we may journey together to eternal life and not stray from the way of truth and what is right. All this we ask of You, who are at work in every place and time, in the communion with the Father and the Son, forever and ever. Amen.

All the Parish Pastoral Councils in the Archdiocese of Durban are elected for a three-year term of office. Please give some thought and a great deal of prayer as to who would be the most suitable leaders of the Parish for the next three-years. Nomination forms for this purpose are at the back of the church. Please ensure that these are completed correctly so as to avoid them being invalid. Nominations to be handed in at the parish office or e-mailed to fr.james@blessedsacrament.co.za by no later than Monday June 27, 2022.
There is an appeal from the Parish Finance Committee to those who Pledged contributions to the parish, that they fulfil their financial commitment, if possible, as it would appear as though there has been a marked decline in the collection of Pledges, particularly through E.F.T.

Lifeteen are having a ‘Cake Sale’ on Sunday June 19, after the 09h00 Mass, please support our Youth.
Thursday June 16, is a public holiday and the parish office will be closed. Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament at 08h30.
Marriages: An appointment with parish clergy should be made 6 months prior to the marriage. Couples must be registered & active members of the Parish for at least 6 months prior. All couples planning to marry should contact the Engaged Encounter team on dbnbookings@engagedencounter.co.za prior to meeting with Father James.
