We stand before You, Holy Spirit, as we gather together in your name. With
You alone to guide us, make Yourself at home in our hearts; Teach us the way we must go and how we are to pursue it. We are weak and sinful; do not let us promote disorder. Do not let ignorance lead us down the wrong path nor partiality influence our actions. Let us find in You our unity so that we may journey together to eternal life and not stray from the way of truth and what is right. All this we ask of You, who are at work in every place and time, in the communion of the Father and the Son, forever and ever. Amen.

Ash Wednesday, March 02, marks the beginning of the Season of Lent, a time of penance and preparation for Easter. Masses on Ash Wednesday will be:
Blessed Sacrament: 06h00, 08h30, 18h00
Star of the Sea: 17h30
There will be a collection at all Masses on Ash Wednesday for the ‘Archbishop’s Charities’.
Mass will be celebrated every Friday during Lent at 06h00 at Blessed Sacrament.
Women’s World Day of Prayer this year will be held at Blessed Sacrament on Friday, March 04 from 10h00.
During Lent a second collection with be taken at all Masses for the Southern African Catholic Bishops’ Lenten Appeal.
Grief support meeting will be held on Saturday, 5 March at 09h30 at Blessed Sacrament in the parish hall. All are welcome

Marriages: An appointment with parish clergy should be made 6 months prior to the marriage. Couples must be registered & active members of the Parish for at least 6 months prior. Funerals: Please contact the parish clergy first before any arrangements are made with the undertaker.
