NOTICES:

APPEAL TO ALL PARISHIONERS: In the light of the country being placed on lockdown level 3 and the numbers of people permitted at a gathering reduced to 50, the appeal is that you try to attend a weekday Mass instead of a weekend Mass, and only one Mass per week. This will afford more people the opportunity to attend Holy Mass. Collection boxes for your usual offerings will be available at the weekday Masses. Thank you in anticipation for your consideration and cooperation.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS. Parishioners are reminded to observe the Covid-19 protocols as instructed by the Government. This does include those published on the doors of the church. The wearing of face masks while on church premises as well as while in the pews is not optional. There have also been complaints about some people not wearing them correctly – over mouth and nose.

SEAL OF THE LIVING GOD Given by God to Maria of the Divine Mercy, this seal will protect your home and loved ones. Hang it in your home and trust in Jesus. An example of this plaque can be viewed at the back of the church at Blessed Sacrament. Please contact the parish office to order one. Optional offer of R30.00 to cover expenses.

RETROUVAILLE:

If your Marriage and Family life is experiencing any difficulties – no matter how small – help is available. For further details, please contact Peter and Maire on 0828 500 500 or 074 134 7335, or visit www.helpourmarriage.org. All correspondence is strictly confidential.

PARISH COLLECTION:

In addition to the weekly collection contributions may also be made by EFT to the Parish of the Blessed Sacrament, First National Bank, account no: 50844547792, branch code 22 14 26.

-----

CORONA VIRUS PRAYER.

Lord Jesus Christ, during your earthly ministry, at your command, the sick were made well. Come to our aid now in the midst of the global pandemic, that we may experience your healing love.

Give leaders of nations and communities the foresight to act with charity and true concern for the well-being of the people they are meant to serve. Give them the wisdom to invest in long-term solutions that will help prepare for or prevent future outbreaks.

Grant to all peoples the grace to respect the measures suggested that may curtail the spread of this virus, and health, strength and courage to doctors, nurses and other health-care workers.

We ask this in your Holy name. Amen.
