ENTRANCE ANTIPHON:

All peoples, clap your hands. Cry to God with

shouts of joy!

FIRST READING: Wisdom 1:13-15, 2:23-24.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM: Psalm 30.

RESPONSE:

I will extol you, Lord, for you have raised me up.

1. I will extol you, Lord, for you have raised me up,

and have not let my enemies rejoice over me.

O Lord, you have lifted up my soul from the grave,

restored me to life from those who sink into the

pit. ℟

2. Sing psalms to the Lord, you faithful ones;

give thanks to his holy name.

His anger lasts a moment; his favour all through life.

At night there are tears, but at dawn comes

joy. ℟

3. Hear, O Lord, and have mercy on me;

be my helper, O Lord.

You have changed my mourning into dancing,

O Lord my God, I will thank you forever. ℟

SECOND READING: 2 Corinthians 8:7, 9, 13-15.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION:

Alleluia, alleluia! Our Saviour Christ Jesus

abolished death and brought life and immortality

to light through the Gospel. Alleluia.

GOSPEL: Mark 5:21-43.

COMMUNION ANTIPHON:

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all within me, his

holy name.

SPIRITUAL COMMUNION PRAYER:

My Jesus,

I believe that you are present

in the Most Holy Sacrament.

I love You above all things,

and I desire to receive You in my soul.

Since I cannot at this moment

receive You sacramentally,

come at least spiritually into my heart.

I embrace You as if You were already there

and unite myself wholly to You.

Never permit me to be separated from You.

Amen.

COMMUNION ANTIPHON:

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all within me, his

holy name.
