ENTRANCE ANTIPHON:
To you I call; for you will surely heed me,
O God; turn your ear to me; hear my words.
Guard me as the apple of your eye;
hide me in the shadow of your wings.
FIRST READING: Isaiah 53:10-11.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM: Psalm 33.
RESPONSE: May your merciful love be upon us, as we hope in you, O Lord.
1. For the word of the Lord is faithful,
and all his works to be trusted.
The Lord loves justice and right,
and his merciful love fills the earth. ℟
2. Yes, the Lord’s eyes are on those who fear him,
who hope in his merciful love,
to rescue their souls from death,
to keep them alive in famine. ℟
3. Our soul is waiting for the Lord.
He is our help and our shield.
May your merciful love be upon us,
as we hope in you, O Lord. ℟
SECOND READING: Hebrews 4:14-16.

Behold, the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
who hope in his merciful love, to rescue their souls from death,
to keep them alive in famine.
SPIRITUAL COMMUNION PRAYER:
My Jesus,
I believe that you are present
in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You in my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.
