ENTRANCE ANTIPHON: How worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and divinity, and wisdom and strength and honour. To him belong glory and authority for ever and ever.

FIRST READING: Ezekiel 34:11-12, 15-17.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM: Psalm 23.

RESPONSE: The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.

1. The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want. Fresh and green are the pastures where he gives me repose. ℟

2. Near restful waters he leads me; he revives my soul. He guides me along the right path, for the sake of his name. ℟

3. You have prepared a table before me in the sight of my foes. My head you have anointed with oil; my cup is overflowing. ℟

4. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. In the Lord’s own house shall I dwell for length of days unending. ℟

SECOND READING: 1 Corinthians 15:20-26, 28.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION: Alleluia, alleluia! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that is coming! Alleluia. GOSPEL: Matthew 25:31-46.

SPIRITUAL COMMUNION PRAYER:

My Jesus,

I believe that you are present

in the Most Holy Sacrament.

I love You above all things,

and I desire to receive You in my soul.

Since I cannot at this moment

receive You sacramentally,

come at least spiritually into my heart.

I embrace You as if You were already there

and unite myself wholly to You.

Never permit me to be separated from You.

Amen.

COMMUNION ANTIPHON: The Lord sits as King forever. The Lord will bless his people with peace.
