FIRST READING: Jonah 3:1-5,10.

RESPONSE: O Lord, make me know your ways. 1. O Lord, make me know your ways. Teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth, and teach me; for you are the God of my salvation. ℟

2. Remember your compassion, O Lord, and your merciful love, for they are from of old. in your merciful love remember me, because of your goodness, O Lord. ℟

3. Good and upright is the Lord; he shows the way to sinners. He guides the humble in right judgement; to the humble he teaches his way. ℟

SECOND READING: 1 Corinthians 7:29-31.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION: Alleluia, alleluia! The kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe in the Gospel. Alleluia.

GOSPEL: Mark 1:14-20.

My Jesus,

I believe that you are present

in the Most Holy Sacrament.

I love You above all things,

and I desire to receive You in my soul.

Since I cannot at this moment

receive You sacramentally,

come at least spiritually into my heart.

I embrace You as if You were already there

and unite myself wholly to You.

Never permit me to be separated from You.

COMMUNION ANTIPHON: Look towards the Lord and be radiant; let your faces not be abashed.
